Ok, I promise this will be the last post of wedding pictures, but they're just so fun! These are from our reception, which was held at Meadowbrook Inn in Blowing Rock, NC.

The big day was May 16th, and we're starting to get settled into married life! We just got some pictures from our photographer, and we wanted to share them with you.
Matt surprised me and gave me a BEAUTIFUL ring as a wedding gift.
Thankfully my sister helped me with my makeup!

Since we're getting married on Saturday, you can probably guess that Matt and I have had so much to do the past few weeks ... or is it months?! It seems like the "to do" list has been growing instead of shrinking for a long time now ...

I love weddings. I like attending them more than planning them. My friends Ryan and Maribeth Ashley got married last weekend at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! The weather couldn't have been more perfect for the entire weekend.

I can hardly believe that Matt and I will be married in 27 days! The time has flown by so quickly, yet it still seems like we have so long to go!

My friends Ryan and Maribeth are getting married in April. I'm incredibly excited they have chosen to live their lives together, so I was thrilled to attend a shower for Maribeth last weekend.
"In marriage we marry a mystery, an other, a counterpart. In a sense the person we marry is a stranger about whom we have a magnificent hunch. The person we choose to marry is someone we love, but his depths, her intimate intricacies, we will come to know only in the long unraveling of time. We know enough about our beloved to know that we love him, to imagine that, as time goes on, we will come to enjoy her even more, become even more of ourselves in her presence. To our knowledge we add our willingness to embark on the journey of getting to know him, of coming to see her, ever so wonderfully more." - Daphne Rose Kingma

One of the easiest decisions about the whole wedding (other than the decision to marry Matt, of course) has been the cake.

Ok, its time for an interactive blog post ...
Matt and I are trying to think of creative places to go for our honeymoon, and we are open to suggestions. Any ideas for somewhere warm and relatively inexpensive?
